Burbage Brook is the stream that runs through Padley Gorge in the Peak District National Park. I took this long exposure shot of the water cascading over some rocks on a recent walk there on a mild October day. For this shot I had to wait till the the sun had almost passed over entirely as the strong sunlight on the water was making it too bright with too many reflections. I wanted to calm the water down in the shot but still show the movement within the water. With it being October, there were some brown leaves that had fallen on the rocks, for additional interest in the overall photo.
