Experimenting with light painting

I was looking at some portfolios where people had taken photos of moving objects that had lighting on them. They had used a long exposure to show the light streaking across the frame. I was impressed with these shots and wanted to try the technique myself. So while on a weekend trip to Bridlington a few years ago, I tried capturing what I wanted. In the scene, the light streaks on the road are from a double decker bus that passed by. I was happy with my first attempt.
