I took this photo while on a hike on Ingleborough in the middle of summer, the day we hiked it was one of the hottest days of the year. Myself and four friends completed the hike. Ingleborough is the second tallest mountain in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, standing at 2,372 ft. It’s a strenuous hike in some of the sections. On the descent I wanted to really push myself time wise as I’m always slower going up a mountain than coming back down. I set and maintained a really good pace all the way back to the Youth Hostel we were staying at, so I was really happy with that. It did mean I didn’t get to use my camera much though. This view is from near the beginning of the hike, with the summit of Ingleborough inĀ the distance.
