Water drop collision #1

This shot required some equipment to create. First I used an electronic water dropper to create the drops, secondly I used a Xantham Gum and milk mixture to create the opaque liquid. What I was trying to achieve was capturing two water drops colliding as they splashed into a reservoir below the dropper. It’s very fiddly and takes time to calibrate the camera, flash and dropper. The resultant effect is pretty cool I think though.
