Höfði Lighthouse

I took this photo of the Höfði Lighthouse at Reykjavik whilst on a 4 night trip to Iceland. It was a bitterly cold morning, but the views were stunning! Höfði Lighthouse is a charming structure located at the waterfront in Reykjavík, Iceland. This iconic spot serves as a symbol of the city’s maritime heritage and offers picturesque views of the surrounding coastal landscape. Historically significant, the lighthouse has witnessed numerous events, including the famous 1986 summit meeting between Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev. Visitors can explore the serene area around the lighthouse, making it a perfect location for photography and quiet reflection. Although not a bustling tourist attraction, its quaintness and historical importance make it a worthwhile visit for those interested in the local culture.
